Galaxy Design Hotel

We stopped here on our way home, and it worked out fine. It's a nice hotel in a beautiful suburban area of Thessaloniki. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The central air conditioning worked, though it was a little noisy. Breakfast was basic but tasty and worth the price. Free parking is available next to the hotel.

There's a great playground for kids right out front. The hotel is nice and close to Thessaloniki, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good.

Luxurious accommodation at reasonable prices, just 10 minutes from Thessaloniki's city center. A great hotel, highly recommended if you're planning a visit to Thessaloniki, Greece.

We checked in late, at 2100, and the reception is open 24/7. There is an elevator to all three floors, so accessibility shouldn't be an issue for people with disabilities. It's nothing fancy, but we had a pleasant one-night stop along the way. The room was clean enough, though the furniture was a little old and could use refurbishment eventually. Wi-Fi is free, but coverage can be patchy. Breakfast was decent, with the usual selection of coffee, juices, milk, yogurt, marmalade, butter, eggs, bacon, salami, and so on. Our garden-side view was okay, not fantastic. In early June the air smelled lovely of linden and pine resin, there were no mosquitoes, and leaving the balcony door open made for a great night's rest. Parking is on adjacent streets. Across the road there's a sports hall, park, and swimming pool. Lots of kids are around, but they suddenly go quiet around 10 pm.
