Nereids Apts by halu! Apartments

The location is excellent, and the room was spacious enough for a pleasant stay, though the amenities were basic and there wasn't much extra space. It seemed like an office converted into accommodation, in an office building. Cleanliness was the major problem. We arrived around midnight after traveling all day, exhausted and ready for bed, but spent another two hours cleaning before we felt we could sleep. There was hair all over the couch, counter and kitchen stools. The couch was microfiber, with black pet hair worked into the fabric so thoroughly that sitting down got it on our clothes. I'm a pet lover, but didn't want someone else's pet hair all over me. The counter and stools were easier to wipe, but we gave up on the couch. There was also curly hair on the white bedding, covers and pillow, and in the desk, wardrobe and on the floor. I assume it was human hair, but I'm not sure. There was some in the bathroom too, which wasn't welcome, though less upsetting than finding it everywhere else. I contacted the manager, who offered to clean the apartment. We weren't comfortable with anyone coming in while we were out, and expected to be away all day until late. They made it sound like it was our problem that our schedule didn't suit their return visit, even though the place should have been properly cleaned before we checked in. I had to insist and explain that we'd already spent our time making the unit livable. They eventually agreed and gave us a small credit on the cleaning fee.
