We spent a lot on this stay, especially because we wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi, but we ended up documenting problems and chasing the hosts for a reply instead of relaxing. They rarely responded, and when they did, there was no apology, help or solution. It left us feeling as if they didn’t care that the trip was going badly. The noise made rest almost impossible. We heard traffic, people shouting below, and the maids working right outside the door. The windows did nothing to block it, and drilling started at 8:30 AM the next day. The room also wasn’t what we had expected. Our stay at Porto Sea View Apartments in Thessaloniki was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing trips we’ve had. The customer service was shockingly bad, the worst we’ve experienced anywhere. We left upset and frustrated with both the atmosphere and the lack of service. We absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

The apartment seemed badly maintained and fell far short of what “luxury” suggested. One lamp was loose enough that it nearly fell on my head. The listing didn’t match the place, and this was the worst apartment I’ve stayed in. My girlfriend and I had booked it for a relaxing break, but the hot water ran out after 20 minutes, as I was told only after I’d paid. We then had to wait another 20-30 minutes for it to return. The jacuzzi, one of our main reasons for booking, was unusable because the water had gone cold by then. We were extremely disappointed.

The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the apartment was so clean. They’d also left us wine, toast, butter, jam and two espressos. Amazing place, I’d definitely recommend it.

Stylish, modern apartment in a great spot in the city center, with plenty of amenities and everything clean. The jacuzzi was a letdown, though. We followed the instructions and waited 20 minutes for the water to heat, but it never did. At night, there wasn’t any hot water, not even enough for a basic shower.
