I've stayed in plenty of hotels and apartments while travelling, but I've never had such a bad experience communicating with a host. I got no check-in instructions on the day, so I called myself two hours beforehand. The host rudely asked why I was worried when check-in was still two hours away, then started asking for my passport details. What if I hadn't had my phone, or its battery had died? When I raised the poor communication, the host blamed me for supposedly wanting a refund, which I didn't, and then dismissed me. I took a screenshot of her reply so you can see the way she spoke.

The room was well kept and had nearly all the appliances we needed, though finding the entrance was difficult. The apartment seems to have been converted from an office. As shown in the photo, the keys are in a regular locker behind the fire hydrant. We stayed two nights in January, and the room was chilly. Even with the air conditioner set to 30 degrees Celsius, it didn't warm the space much, so I'd bring slippers for the cold tiled floor. We could also hear the neighbors easily, and cigarette smoke from their room came into ours. It only stopped after I went over and asked them to stop knocking.

The owner is kind and ready to help whenever you need her. The room was beautiful and very clean, with comfortable spaces that work well for two people. It's fairly close to the city center and right next to the train station. Definitely recommended!
