A lovely place to come back to after a day of hiking, and the town around it was peaceful but still had plenty of character. We felt at home in the comfortable, cosy hotel. Imelda and the serving staff were attentive and kind without hovering. We enjoyed the lunch and tea choices at the restaurant, too, with decent prices. Would happily stay at Vigla again.

The family running this place made the stay feel personal, and the hospitality was so warm. I also loved the food and the pool area. Of all the hotels and islands on my multi-week trip, this was my favorite. It really stood out, and I’ll be back soon.

The walks and scenery nearby were amazing, and I’m already planning to come back next year. My room was great, with a massive balcony, and breakfast was really nice. The staff were excellent and happy to help with anything. Terry, Wokingham 🇬🇧

We needed somewhere to stay at the last minute after an accommodation snag, and booked Vigla hotel late at night. They were incredibly kind and accommodating. The rooms were amazing, super clean and spacious, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Having a great restaurant right there was very convenient. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We’ll definitely come back to Amorgos and stay here again. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The staff were professional and helped with all our questions. The pool and our balcony both had amazing views, and the location was perfect.
