Elgreco Apartment, at Zipari, with unique view "4"

The price and the actual condition were nowhere near a match. We paid nearly €2000 for a high-season stay, but the apartment was advertised as a standalone house and turned out to be one of several units, with neighbors above and next door. You could hear them walking overhead and living beside us. During our 14 days, nobody came to clean or change the linens. The grounds were neglected, with sharp dry sticks and rubbish scattered around, and the apartment's cleanliness and upkeep were below standard. A serious water leak flooded our room and ruined clothes in an open suitcase. We reported it, but nothing was done, and we had to clean up ourselves. There was barely any hot water, so showering comfortably was almost impossible. The bed was too small for our child. The bathroom had no hook for the showerhead, and the drain was clogged. Kitchen appliances, especially the electric oven, weren't working properly. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor, so we had to use mobile data. One night, other guests who had booked these apartments tried to enter our room. It made it seem as if the place was double-booked across platforms and management wasn't keeping track of cancellations. The whole stay was stressful and unpleasant. I don't usually review places on Google, but this was a nightmare and I feel others should know what to expect. Avoid this place at all costs.
