We paid 150€ a night for a room that was a disgrace. It was on pool level, literally 1.5 m from the water, and the moisture made it hard to breathe. There were cracks everywhere, damaged plaster, rust on the metal surfaces and holes near the bottom of the walls that leaked. The bathroom had broken tiles and no separate shower area, so water flooded the floor every time we showered. The so-called door was a semi-transparent aluminum panel, with a hole-riddled curtain to keep out light. The room curtains were plastic and full of holes too. The two twin beds were uneven and pushed together. The AC was filthy, and an electronic device behind the bed had dust and mulch in its openings, right behind our heads as we slept. I know it’s a 3-star place, but having people sleep in these conditions feels like a con. It was the worst experience of my life, even worse than a night I once spent in a 1-star hostel in central Paris. To me, this is what goes wrong with tourism in Greece: greedy hoteliers take advantage of the influx of visitors and spend nothing maintaining their property. The management should be ashamed.

The rooms were comfortable and the location handy, with helpful staff. It was about the best stay we could have had, though breakfast was overpriced. A special thanks to the blonde girl at reception, always kind and smiling!

The staff were helpful and always smiling, and there’s a small pool where you can relax and get some sun. The location is excellent, right by town, so you don’t need a vehicle to go out at night. The rooms were clean but nothing special. We stayed five nights in high season, and for that price I expected the sheets to be changed at least once. Breakfast was adequate, just simple things and nothing special. I’d recommend it to someone visiting the island.
