Dimitra Hotel apartments

The accommodation was just average. Being central meant there was a lot of noise in the evenings. Breakfast was identical every day, with the cheapest kind of salami and cheese and not a single vegetable or fruit. The owner, who seemed to be the receptionist, wasn’t very welcoming. We asked at check-in for two single beds instead of a double, but were told there were no free rooms. We asked again the next day, and he said he’d arrange something and let us know. During our seven-day stay, we never heard anything more about it. Parking was hard to find because the street was always full. You had to wait for someone to leave and grab the space quickly before someone else did. The owner’s parking advice could also be misleading. The first place he suggested led the neighbors to say they’d call the police if we didn’t move the car. The second was in front of the post office, where we would definitely have been fined if we’d followed his advice.
