Kyparissia De Wandelboom

Our favorite place was the first-floor balcony, with an open view across the valley and olive groves all the way to the sea. The scenery was breathtaking, and once we arrived, the adventurous drive was quickly forgotten. The road can be steep, with overhanging branches and gravel in places, and some tight bends meant maneuvering our sufficiently powerful van. A car that isn’t too wide or tall and has a bit more horsepower than a Fiat 500 is a good idea. That sort of road is typical off Greece’s main highways. The property is a beautiful, nearly secluded hilltop home among olive trees, ideal if you want peace, relaxation, and privacy. If you’re after absolute luxury or the party of a lifetime, this isn’t the place. The owners lovingly renovated it, and it’s clear they use it themselves as well as rent it out. The owners and Yannis, the dedicated property manager, were very helpful with excursion tips and restaurant recommendations. It was just the two of us for the first week, then our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild joined us for the second. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time.

A clean, quiet place.
