The room we got was a bunker-like space beside the windmill, not the windmill itself that we expected. There was mold in the shower and bugs all over, and mosquitoes bit us across our bodies. The air conditioner rattled through the night because of a hole in the ceiling, which let them in. Housekeeping came only once, despite saying they’d come daily. When we called about the bugs, they told us to put the carpet in front of the door. Not a good stay.

We spent five nights here in July as a family of four. The thick walls and a nice breeze kept the room from getting too hot. There’s a fridge, coffee maker, and kettle, though no other kitchen gear. The setting is lovely, and it’s the best spot for watching the Milos sunset. The bus stop and other amenities are nearby.

It’s a good idea, but it feels short on care and hospitality. Unless you get in touch first, nobody checks on you; they only reach out when it’s time to check out. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Wi-Fi worked well when it stayed connected, though it dropped often, possibly because it was quite windy. We got a welcome drink and suggestions for restaurants, and sleeping in a place like this with that sunset view was a great experience. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, a few minutes from several restaurants, with parking in front of the building. Nice for a few days, but it could use more amenities for a longer stay.

I paid the full amount on 26/05/2022 for a stay on 21/08/2022. The booking was confirmed by phone that same day, and I booked the ferry because of it. Then, on 02/06/2022, the accommodation called to say the reservation had been canceled due to a system error. They offered no alternative. That makes me wonder if the real reason may have been financial. Unprofessional behavior, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend them.
