Villa Vager

The owners made us feel very welcome, shared useful ideas for things to do nearby, and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh local produce and homemade goodies. Vager House is a charming, beautifully kept place, and the rooms are cozy and nicely decorated. Set among the Peloponnese mountains, it has lovely views and a peaceful feel. I had an unforgettable stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Levithi.

Marina and Nicolas were generous, kind and incredibly helpful hosts, and the staff were polite and kind as well. The food was rich in taste, made with fresh, organic ingredients from the village's own harvest. The hotel views are heavenly. I loved the artistic choices in the walls, furniture and decorations, and the design feels full of history and culture. Such a unique and amazing place to stay.

The next morning's breakfast was one of the best we've had, with fresh coffee, plenty of quality local treats, handmade pies and delicious croissants. Earlier, Mr & Mrs Vager were polite and informative, with great suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. After exploring the area, we relaxed in Villa Vager’s grand living area by the fireplace with wine and a lovely dinner. Our room was spotless and carefully decorated with beautiful furnishings. Underfloor heating made it warm and cozy on a cold winter day, while the high, wood-textured ceilings and many windows filled the room with sunlight. The staff were professional and showed us to a room with sweeping valley views and mountains on the horizon, almost like a fairytale. A sensory delight from start to finish. Villa Vager’s owners have created a place with style, substance, professionalism and elegance. We hope to return as soon as we’re back in Greece.

The owner gave us helpful recommendations, and there are several nice hiking areas within a 30 minute to one hour drive around town. We stayed for two nights with a few other families and were happy with the visit. The villa was very clean, and breakfast had great options. The kids enjoyed running around and playing in the hotel guest room area, where there were chess boards and games.
