The pool is clean and has sunbeds, and the rooms were fresh and clean too. The hotel and owners are lovely. The bar is excellent and popular with both locals and tourists, with great cocktails. It's within walking distance of the beach and some amazing tavernas. One observation for us: although we're in our late 50s, most of the other guests were even older. It wasn't a problem, just something we noticed.

Chrysanna and Manos were the best part of our holiday. The staff are amazing, and those two would go out of their way to make everything perfect for everyone. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is absolutely stunning. I'd recommend it without hesitation and will definitely return.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the astoria hotel is a lovely place to unwind. There are good restaurants nearby and a bus stop close by for getting around the island. I'll definitely come back.

A lovely, welcoming family-run hotel. Everyone does their best to make you comfortable, and it's good value for the money. The garden is beautifully kept, with plants and trees creating a great barrier from the street and surrounding area. There's a nice beach with pine shade just five minutes away on foot. The open bar and pool area are well designed for relaxing and having fun. Most guests seem to hang out there, so it's lively, especially in the evenings, with good music and nice drinks. No bad side to mention. An honest recommendation.

Just back from ten days at this fabulous family-run hotel. The bathrooms are small and breakfast is basic, but neither mattered much to us. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. It's a few minutes' walk to the beach, with lots of tavernas nearby. The pool bar is fabulous and becomes a great cocktail bar. It really felt like authentic Greece. I'll definitely return!
