Paraschos Studios

I stayed here with my family for two weeks. It's a basic place, but still comfortable, and I think the value for money is decent. The property is well maintained and surrounded by greenery, in a pleasant area with a breeze. There's a free-access swimming pool, bar and tavern a few meters away. The main road is about 600 meters away, with bus stops for getting beyond Skiathos Town to the main seaside resorts along the south coast. They clean daily and change the linen almost every day. The water isn't drinkable, though we still cooked with it. The kitchenette could be better: the stove works, but it's dated and worn. Wi-Fi is spotty and doesn't work well everywhere.

The maid was kind, and luckily we weren't charged because we left straight away. The owner understood there was a problem and cancelled the reservation free of charge. The rooms looked nothing like the photos, and the air conditioner couldn't cool the space. There's no reception, and there wasn't even a swimming pool. Woe betide you if something happens to you.

The location is excellent. The rooms are a little dated, but overall it's a good place to stay. Kudos to Mrs. Ninia, who's very helpful and always smiling.

When we arrived there was no hot water, and it took four days before we had any. The air conditioner broke, and it still hadn't been fixed after three days. The apartments are old, there's no internet, and the road to get there is very narrow and hard to find because there is no sign. I won't stay here again.
