Filia Studios & Apartments

All the little practical things were well covered: towels were replaced when needed, there was always toilet roll, and food was available throughout the day. The friendly, family run studios have fantastic hosts, and the other guests were very nice too. At night it's quiet enough to hear owls and crickets. Filia Studios/ Apartments is a cosy, welcoming place. It's a short walk to Trulous Beach, with lovely views and an easy walk up the slight hill. The location puts beaches, hiking, the horse riding pick up point, bus travel to town, nearby Tavernas, and three small supermarkets within easy reach. I'll definitely come back. 😀😀😀

The climb is worth it for the amazing view of the mainland and troulos beach. One side of the hill is a little steep, but the other is walkable. I'm 76 and it wasn't a problem. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, with many tavernas nearby run by friendly, helpful people. We found a large, clean, well-equipped apartment in an ideal spot. We'd done our research and read lots of reviews, and weren't disappointed. Christos and Marie, many thanks. Would I recommend it or visit again? Most certainly. Cheers, John and Maggie.

Christos & Anne Marie looked after us so well while we celebrated our son's wedding there. They're the hosts you'd hope for, and clearly want you to have a wonderful holiday. The pool is stunning and spotless, the bar is excellent, and the food is great. I can't recommend the Filia enough.

What made us feel so welcome at Filia was the friendly atmosphere and the owners' and staff's service. From the moment we arrived, Kristos and Anne Marie couldn't do enough for us. If you're after a luxurious room with all the modern conveniences, this may not be the place. But if you want a great Greek holiday experience, don't hesitate to book. The family run poolside cafe/bar is the heart of the small complex. It's spotless, serves freshly cooked food to order all day, and is a lovely spot to meet other guests. Our last meal there, freshly cooked peppers, swordfish steak and salad, was the best of our holiday and great value. The hotel sits up a fairly short hill, and a couple of minutes' effort gets you beautiful panoramic views across Troulos to the sea. The beach is a pleasant walk along a tree-lined path with bars and restaurants along it. Our room was basic and could use an update, so I've given it four stars, but the beds were comfortable and it was cleaned every day. The patio was lovely, with a great view. We can't wait to return.
