Villa Ourania

Troulos beach is only a five minute walk away, with seagulls, swans, and a little island that makes it especially picturesque. The area was quiet and close to some of the island’s best known beaches, with tavernas and restaurants nearby. As a couple, we were glad we chose Troulos over crowded, noisy Skiathos town. The owners were incredibly helpful after our car broke down the day before the trip. They offered to collect us from the port, told us about restaurants, beaches, and bus stops, and made us coffee in the morning. We’re very grateful, and when we return to Skiathos, we’ll definitely stay at Villa Ourania again.

The garden is huge, with palms, flowers, a barbecue, terraces, and places to sit and relax. The rooms are spacious too. Villa Ourania is well placed in Troulos, about a ten minute walk from one of the best beaches on Skiatos, right by a bus stop, and surrounded by good restaurants, 24 hour shops, rental cars, and pools. Best of all, Ourania and Nikos are just the kind of people you hope to meet somewhere new. They’ll pick you up at the airport and give you a quick rundown of what to do on Skiatos. I’ll be back for sure!

Troulos beach is about 700 m away, roughly a five minute walk. The villa apartments are conveniently located by bus stop no. 18, with several supermarkets and restaurants close by.

We spent two weeks in the largest two bedroom apartment, which sleeps four. It stayed fresh and airy, and was spotless, with daily cleaning and fresh towels every two days. Ourania’s laundry always smelled lovely. Ourania and Nikos were extremely kind and helpful, always willing to do what they could to meet a request. A wonderful stay for a great price.
