The little touches made our arrival easy: the owner had left good coffee, white wine, olive oil and water in the fridge, since the tap water isn't for drinking. They were very kind, and parking was free and felt safe, with a plant-covered roof for shade. We stayed in the premium (superior) villa and really liked how peaceful it was. Even with a 5 star hotel next door, things stayed discreet and quiet. It's in a village, so not the spot for partying. But for relaxing by lovely water and enjoying the view, it worked beautifully. There are stones as you enter the sea, then sand, and you can keep your feet on the bottom without it getting deep too quickly. The sunrise from the window was lovely too ❤️. I'd go back anytime.

The hosts were lovely and quick to help when we needed them, and there's a fig tree on the grounds with delicious fruit. The location and landscape are beautiful, right by the sea, with places to sit in sun or shade and enjoy the view. The sea entrance is rocky, though, so water shoes are needed. I wish something could be done about some of those rocks. For a proper beach, you'll need to drive. It's quiet rather than lively, with about three restaurants nearby. We liked Vardiola and Porto Roulis, especially the fish there, and there's also a good steakhouse about 10-13 minutes away on foot. Other towns are an option if you want a change of scenery or food. The room was the weak point for the price, which felt too high to me. It looked old, some of the furniture was deteriorating, a few lamps were rusty, and the fridge was old and didn't shut properly. The bathroom was only average, and my room had no hair dryer. The AC worked fine. Towels and sheets were changed once during our 7 days, and we ran out of hot water twice, probably because several people in the villa showered around the same time and it uses solar panels. There was a plug-in mosquito repellent in the room if needed.
