Gerakari Thalassa Studios

We enjoyed the peaceful setting among olive trees, away from the bustle of Zakinthos city. The owner, I think, was a lovely man who greeted us as we looked for the address and came to say goodbye the next morning. The apartment had an old-school charm, with wooden furniture, a cute bathroom, and a nice terrace. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was air conditioning and a fan. Parking was easy, with a large lot right in front. It's a good option if you'd rather stay somewhere quiet outside town. Zante City is about 20-25 minutes away, and a taxi to the center is about 25-30€. You can use the main taxi line of Zakinthos, and they'll come pick you up if you explain the address clearly.

We were three people and had booked an apartment at Gerakari Thalasa Studios. It was a lovely, peaceful stay at a very good price. We had our own car, though many travelers hire one, and it's a good place to set off each morning to explore zante island. The only drawback was the mosquitoes. We bought repellent tablets for the plug-in electric device, and then everything was fine. The fridge worked, there was hot water, and there was a place for a grill or barbecue. The sea is 150 m away, nice for a romantic walk. A very good choice.

A clean, peaceful place close to the beach, and a good base for exploring the island. Great hospitality and good value for money.

The studio was cleaned every day, and the balcony had a beautiful view. A great place for a holiday, near the sea.
