Ducato di Zante

We’ve already spent two holidays here, and may be turning into regulars. It’s the best place I’ve ever stayed, and I highly recommend it. The sea is right outside the door, and there’s a pool for when you’d rather not swim in saltwater. Outside, there’s a lovely spot for meals in the morning sun or the shade later in the day. Vasso is always there to help. The house is clean, spacious and extremely well kept, with all the amenities you could want. We’ve just returned and I’m still at a loss for words about how great the place is.

The villa was beautifully designed, with a pool and private beach access that we loved. Each of the four bedrooms had its own bathroom and shower, and I’ve never seen a rental so fully stocked. Everything we needed was there, and Vaso was available around the clock in case anything was missing, though we never needed to ask. Vaso was an incredible hostess. I can’t say enough good things about Ducato di Zante. If you’re in Zakythos, this is definitely the place to stay!

Vasso made our stay special, and went far beyond what we expected. We celebrated two birthdays while we were there, and she arranged a lovely surprise for each one at no charge. She even had birthday cakes delivered to the house outside working hours. We’re grateful for all her care and generosity. We can’t recommend the villa or her hospitality enough, and we’d happily book again. We were a family of nine, seven adults and two children, with lots of room for everyone. Each double room had its own ensuite, and even our son on the sofa bed had a bathroom and shower. There are five bathrooms in total. The beachfront location was ideal for a breeze in the August heat, and the pool was great for cooling off. Snorkelling in the sea is highly recommended too. Several excellent local tavernas are within walking distance, each with its own menu and great service. The villa had everything we could need. We stayed earlier this month and had a fantastic time.

Vasso was always kind, attentive and available whenever we needed anything. The daily cleaning was very thorough, and the fridge was stocked with water and other essentials when we arrived. My children, aged 7 and 10, loved the villa, and we’d gladly return. The location is wonderfully peaceful, with clear sea just a few meters away. We could go from the pool to the water in seconds. The villa is very new and modern, with quality finishes, a well-equipped kitchen, four comfortable bedrooms with new beds, and a private bathroom for each room plus an extra service bathroom. There’s a beautiful modern pool, a barbecue for evenings outdoors and a lawn that makes the place feel welcoming. The washer and dryer were convenient, and the 250 Mbps broadband was fast and reliable. My family and I spent one week of our two-week vacation here, and the villa was absolutely fantastic.
