Jasmine Suites

After two wonderful weeks, we’ve just left this fantastic villa. Before we arrived, I was sent our hosts’ names and phone numbers and asked for our arrival time so they could arrange to welcome us. Dionisis was there when we arrived, showed us around and asked if we needed anything. When I asked where the nearest supermarket was, he took us there and brought us back. Fantastic. The welcome treats kept coming. There was wine and melon when we first arrived, then the next morning we found eggs, melon and olive oil on the patio table. The owners also gave us a huge, delicious moussaka during our stay. Dionisis exchanged phone numbers with us and said to get in touch if anything came up. We were asked what time would suit us for cleaning and fresh bedding and towels, which were changed every three days. That worked perfectly with our two teenagers, who slept late, so the cleaning happened later in the day as we requested. After a BBQ, I left the ash until the next morning so it could cool before cleaning, but the whole area had already been tidied. Dionisis said they come in early every morning to water the plants and had cleaned up too. How good was that. After a week of relaxing, we wanted to see some sites. I asked Dionisis for advice, and the next day he came by with the best places to visit and the best times to go. When we considered a boat trip, he called the company and arranged a tour with our own boat and captain for the day, with pickup at the villa. He also recommended a nightclub for the two 19 year olds with us. The Jasmine Suites owners are perfect hosts, and we were well looked after. I can fully recommend the villas as a great place to enjoy a holiday in Zante. The location is quiet at night, far enough from the bars, but only a 5-minute walk to a good, well-stocked supermarket. There’s an area of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, and a further 10-minute walk takes you to more of the same, though there’s really no need. I can’t fault anything about the Jasmine Suites or its hosts. Just perfect.
