Ktima Kourou

We stayed in the large three-bedroom villa, which had three en-suites and a separate downstairs toilet. My brother and his wife had a smaller villa, while my parents could stay downstairs on one level. We had the two lovely upstairs bedrooms, with balconies overlooking the pool and gardens. There were eight of us, four adults, two kids and two older adults, and this was the perfect family holiday. The kids loved the pool, and we even had tortoises in our garden. The villas are beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with stunning, well-kept gardens. They’re on a working farm near Tsilivi, wonderfully quiet but within easy walking distance of town, the beach and the water park. There’s a small shop and coffee shop around the corner for everyday bits too. Our hosts were fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful, and the villas were cleaned daily. We ordered breakfast on our first morning and it was beautiful. I honestly can’t find anything bad to say and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Anastasia and the team, for making such a memorable holiday for my family.

Ktima Kourou was a great place to stay. Our room was kept really clean, and you could tell the owner’s sister puts a lot of care into running it. The garden has a pool, so you can swim in the yard if you don’t feel like going out. The water was very clean. You can contact the owner on WhatsApp if you need anything, which is handy. Breakfast is available for €13-14 per person, but you need to speak to the owner a day ahead. This kind sister also helped book a car to pick us up and drop us off. Homemade wine was ready for us to try, and it was very good. The location is great too, with the beach about a five-minute walk away. I booked a villa homestay on Booking.com, P7-P8. The accommodation had a lovely patio and pool, and the rooms were cleaned daily. It’s well placed for the beach and an outdoor restaurant, and Tsilivi waterpark is within walking distance. The host was a big help with arranging the airport shuttle and other car and boat rentals.

The garden is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, and the place has a lovely traditional feel. I absolutely love it here and highly recommend it. Hearing the farm animals in the morning made my stay feel extra special. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.
