Limanaki Apartments

After 20 years of staying at Limanaki apartments, Dionysis, Tassia and Yanni feel like family. I’ve just had another lovely visit, and their hospitality is still second to none. They’ll happily suggest tavernas and places to see, and have even dropped us at a local taverna now and then. The setting is peaceful, just outside Tsilivi, but close enough if you want a night out. The pool is usually quiet and makes a lovely place for a siesta. From the property, the views across towards Tsilivi and the Balcony hotel are spectacular. The beach is just a few steps away, about 20 down to the Taverna and beach bar. That bar is a nice extra, with good food and cocktails. The apartments are rustic and authentic to Greece, with everything you need, but they’re not flashy five-star places. That’s exactly why we love them. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are fully equipped, and whether you have a balcony or patio, the view is great. There’s a cleaner most days, and she’s really nice and helpful. It’s peaceful at night, unlike staying in Tsilivi. This year we also had their lovely breakfasts. I was grateful for fresh vegetarian omelettes every morning, and there’s plenty to choose from, from fruit and Greek yogurt to cooked food. We hire our car through Zak’s car hire, run by Yanni, and the service is brilliant compared with others on the island. I was lucky enough to visit twice this year and can’t wait to return.
