Varres Hotel

The view was breathtaking, and the staff were wonderful. The hotel isn't right by the beach, but transfers are available to places you want to visit. We took one to the beach, and the girl who drove us was lovely. Thanks for such a great time, I'd recommend it! ☀️

A nice, tidy hotel, and the rooms were well cared for, though they felt a little short on atmosphere. One lamp gave the room a bit of an aquarium feel, which was mostly amusing. The pool was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was outstanding, with lots of tasty options and nice staff. I'd recommend it if you want a good hotel, rather than somewhere cute or lively.

The balcony in our room had a lovely view, and the pool was clean and pleasant, though keep an eye out for hornets. We stayed 11 nights and had a really good time. Staff were kind and helpful, the bar food was good, and the bartender mixed some excellent cocktails. The stray cats around the place were very cute too. Breakfast each morning leaned heavily British, with bacon, baked eggs, and sausages, but we enjoyed it overall. My main gripes were the rather hard beds and the bedspread, which came loose several times a night. I'd still like to come back and stay here again.

The pool was a lovely place for the children and us to spend time, and we enjoyed it almost every day. We also ate dinner at the hotel many times and thought the food was great. The pool staff were friendly and helpful, and our cleaning lady was so sweet. She kept the spacious rooms immaculate, and I grew very fond of her. We stayed at Hotel Varres for 11 nights. The staff treated us well, and the air conditioning was a real help: it was hot outside and the room temperature was perfect. We loved the hotel, especially its setting among olive trees, not far from Zakynthos town. I'd recommend it for a trip with children. ❤️
