We slept well enough in the beds, and the powerful AC kept up with the 43C heatwave. The location worked if you want to be near the local city. Still, the villa fell short of what we expected, though I suppose that depends on what you’re looking for. It’s got character, but it’s gone past rustic charm and feels poorly maintained and ropey. The outside spaces could have been lovely, but instead felt like an overgrown house after the apocalypse. The kitchen and common areas were functional, more like a scout’s house than a villa. For a group planning to stay 8 or more, having just one usable bathroom, and not an ideal one, was a problem.

The host was welcoming and answered all our questions. There was enough room for our group of seven, with space to spare, and the beds were comfortable. The house has everything you need, including air conditioning in the rooms. It sits by an olive forest with a lovely view, and the huge terrace could fit both dinner and dancing at the same time. A big house with real Greek atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Villa Celeste is in Tsilivi, about a four minute walk from the beach and a nine minute walk from Tsilivi Beach. The holiday home is in a building dating from 1996 and has air conditioning, a terrace with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It has four separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and direct access to a balcony. Tsilivi Water Park is 1.2 km away, Byzantine Museum is 3.9 km away, and Zakynthos International "Dionysios Solomos" Airport is 7 km from the property.
