We found the beaches in this part of the south very quiet, still wild, and not crowded. Tsoutsouros has several taverns, and their prices are more or less alike and quite reasonable. We especially recommend Amalia taverna in Chondros, about a 20-minute drive away. The apartment had a breathtaking sea view, was impeccably clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was very good, even though they weren’t there at the time.

The owners, Mrs. Maria and Mr. Andreas, gave us what felt like Cretan hospitality doubled and then some. Thank you so much for everything. The house is very comfortable, has what you need to function, and the location is AMAZING.
