I stayed for an extended period in late November and December, and Mrs Helen and Mr Leonidas took wonderful care of me. When I caught a cold, they checked on me and brought me lots of tea. The rooms are BIG and spacious, with a kitchenette, and the walk into Vamos Village has lovely views and wonderful people. Once there, the coffee was fantastic. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!

The apartments are simply magnificent, and the website doesn’t do them justice. With the stone walls and sturdy, high-quality wooden furniture, the place feels warm, and the handmade embroidery woven by the lovely Mrs. Eleni is breathtaking. I could practically live there. The family’s warm welcome sets the tone for genuine Cretan hospitality.

It feels like a little piece of original Crete in Vamos, a beautifully restored traditional village. Nature is close by, and I loved the hosts’ sweet treats and reading my books by the pool. The people are fantastic, too. Already looking forward to next year’s holidays. Mrs Eleni, wait for us!

Helena and Stavros were truly amazing during our two days at Vamos Palace. They were generous and helpful, and kept bringing us desserts and ice creams. The rooms were large and spotless, and our big balcony looked out toward the coast. I wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved the clean, well-equipped apartments and the beautiful pool. The village center is an easy walk away, and the family who runs the place made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Eleni and Leonidas, for making our vacation such a great experience.
