We took the bus from Ermoupouli, and it stops about 50 metres from the hotel. The hotel is right on the beach in a sheltered bay, with free sunbeds, which were a fantastic bonus. The staff were so kind and welcoming that we felt comfortable and relaxed straight away. Breakfast was good. The coffee could be better, and I would have liked fresh fried eggs, but everything else was wonderful.

My sea-view room was awesome, and the staff were friendly, laid-back, and great. There’s no shower curtain, but I didn’t really care in the setting. It’s one of my favourite places in all Greece. The guy kept saying, “Relax, no problem,” and it actually helped me relax 😅

Sofia welcomed us when we arrived with so much warmth, and she always treated us like family with a smile. The hotel is family owned, and they provide beach towels. If you’re in Syros and want a clean, welcoming place to stay, I highly recommend it.

The food and room were both very comfortable, and the hotel is right on the beach with nice loungers. It’s family owned and run, and the service was outstanding. Sofia and Alex are among the people running the place, and they’re incredible, always ready to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. A great choice if you’re after an authentic Greek experience.

The room was clean and just right, and we loved our stay at Hotel Kamelo. Vasilis was especially friendly and helpful while we relaxed on the beach’s complimentary sun lounges, which were such a great perk. The included breakfast was amazing too. All the staff were lovely. We had the BEST stay!
