Blue Caves Villas Zakynthos Villa Purple

A wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Zakinthos. The small farm feel was lovely, and they provided wine, grapes, olive oil, and other thoughtful amenities. The facilities and hospitality were amazing. They really take care of guests and treat you like family, and it’s a great way to experience local culture. Thanks for everything, Giorgios. I look forward to coming back!

The quiet was a big part of the stay: no tourist noise, just the sea, birds, and cicadas. Blue Caves Villas sits close to nature, with lovely views, organic fruit and herbs, and even rainwater bathing. Deep Blue house fits the island so well. I’d love to come back to Zakynthos in late summer, especially now that fig season is my favorite.

We chose Purple and Crystal Villas for our wedding and had our family stay with us. The remote setting made it feel as if we had the island to ourselves, and the villas and property were spotless, with comfortable beds. Monika and Giorgos patiently answered our questions before and during the visit. Giorgos went above and beyond to make the wedding holiday special, and we’re so grateful. We missed our own dogs, so getting cuddles from Diaz the second was a real treat. The way down into the cave is a bit precarious, but it’s such a cool feature. A storm kept us from making much use of the caves and sea access for a few days. Since this is a remote part of Zakynthos, we’d suggest renting cars if you plan to go out. We had three cars for ten guests and plenty of parking. The hospitality made our wedding and family trip memorable. We’d recommend the villas to anyone.

The owner fired up the wood oven with lavender, and it gave our brick oven pizzas a really distinctive flavor. The olives, olive oil, and wine are made on site, so ask about a bottle of the 2018 wine. Everything else was great too: service, amenities, rooms, views, pool, and the people. We had a fantastic stay.
