The setting looks really nice, and the hotel itself is huge and has a lot of character. I didn't go inside, but from what I could see it seemed abandoned and was falling apart. There may still be potential here, though it would take a lot of investment. Sad to see it in this state.

The food was awful and the same every day, and even its presentation feels stuck in the 19th century. The place is dirty, poorly maintained, and unsafe. If you care about your health, don't go there.

The shower had no hot water after 5 pm, and nobody replaced the towels or took out the rubbish. The restaurant had no air conditioning, so it got very sweaty, and there often wasn't any food left when we finally reached it after waiting 30 minutes. The food itself had no taste, and there weren't enough staff. Most of them didn't speak English either. For this price, it felt more like full board than all-inclusive, and the quality was poor. I don't see how this is a 4-star hotel. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I wouldn't recommend booking a stay or tour here. You'll just be disappointed. Better to rent a house and go on your own.

The setting is lovely, close to the sea and a beautiful shallow sandy beach. The pools are fine, although at the Palazzo there aren't many sunbeds, so you need to put towels down early. Bar staff were friendly and generous with the all-inclusive drinks. Things went downhill at the restaurant. The staff there were unfriendly, and when I smiled at a waiter he just stared back coldly. Food ranged from mediocre to horrible, so we ate out a lot despite having paid for all-inclusive. The decor is dated and tired, and we had to call a plumber three times for problems with the toilet and shower. Room cleaning was minimal too. The hotels are quite isolated, which makes it hard to get away. Buses to Argassi and Zante are cheap but infrequent, so we ended up paying 20 Euro for a taxi each day. Between transport and eating out, we spent much more than usual. The Palazzo has lots of potential, which makes this such a shame. Very disappointed, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The view over the beach is nice, and the beach itself is lovely. The staff were polite and hospitable, but that was about the only other positive. Three hotels make up the resort, yet only one was open. The hotel is very old and had fewer than 10 staff for the whole place. There was no room cleaning, and only one outside WC, with terrible hygiene. At night, a single waiter served the open pool bar for the entire resort. The restaurant was in the hotel lobby, with just two waiters. The food was the same at lunch and dinner every day, with no Greek cuisine, and it was replenished only after it had run out. There was no beach bar or WC either. I knew in advance that getting to the beach meant going down seven floors and back up seven floors. What I hadn't expected was that the lift there wouldn't work. Only four travel agencies send guests here, two from Czech Republic, one from Slovakia and one from Poland. This holiday was a failure for Exim and Fischer Czech travel agency.
