I was there for seven nights in mid to late September, probably shoulder season. The weather was still lovely, around 24-27 degrees celsius, with light winds each morning that picked up by varying amounts in the afternoon. My room matched the description and worked very well for the week. It got a daily tidy, which I appreciated, and I had fresh towels on day three. Breakfast was always enjoyable, with a wide selection and staff who were happy to chat and laugh. The restaurant view at 8am is a great way to start a day in Vas. I booked windsurf gear for the week and got the 10% hotel guest discount. The surf school staff were knowledgeable, supportive, friendly, and professional. By the end of the week they knew my preferences and weak spots. I didn't take lessons, but watched a few, and I think you'd be in good hands. Lunch at the bar is a must, and so is a large Mythos beer after a big windsurf session. The bar staff were a delight, and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. Check-in and check-out were easy. On arrival, a staff member took time to explain the services and the room and hotel facilities, which made for a great introduction to the hotel and Vasiliki. Parking was free and easy. There are several great waterfront restaurants a short walk away, and the port and main centre are a 10-15 minute walk or a quick drive. I'm hoping to come back to sail in Vasiliki in the next year, and I'll definitely choose Surf Hotel.

We had a great week at Surf Hotel with our family of five, including three teenage girls. We booked directly, and the hotel's location is excellent, with lovely views over the pool and beach. The staff were amazing, and breakfast was excellent. The lunch menu was very good too, with quality ingredients. The rooms could use some attention. They're typically Greek, functional rather than luxurious, which we expected. The bed was rock hard, and a mattress topper would fix that. The fridge was old, hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, and barely worked, which was a shame since everything else was spotless. The air conditioning worked really well. All in all, the atmosphere was great, and I'd highly recommend it.

The surf spot is fabulous, safe for beginners and with steady wind for advanced surfers. We met lots of lovely people among both the staff and the guests, and the service, food, and view were wonderful. We really enjoyed our two-week holiday, just like in past years. You've created a wonderful place at Surf Hotel. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. We're already looking forward to coming back in 2026! 😊

We felt at home after only a couple of days, thanks to the friendly, helpful team, from reception to the bar and the cleaning staff. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything you need. The pool bar stays open all day, so you can always order something fresh. It's handy that you can charge things to your room and don't have to bring money to the beach. The beach is right in front of the hotel, with umbrellas available for guests and a surf school where you can rent equipment or take lessons. Surf Hotel was a great choice for our stay in Vasiliki, Lefkada. We're thinking of coming back next year!

We had a great stay at Surf Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was tasty and filling, though I did miss having a proper espresso. The refreshing poolside drinks more than made up for that after a day in the sun. The location is hard to beat, right by the beach with access to windsurfing, e-surf, and other water activities. There’s free parking, too. It's a great option whether you're after water sports or some time relaxing by the sea. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Vassiliki!
