Yasemi Rooms

The rooms were clean, and restaurants, shops, and the beach were all nearby. I'd happily return for another stay.

On the fourth day of our 7-day holiday, I noticed that about 300 euros in Romanian currency had disappeared from my wallet in the room. Until then, everything had been fine. The host denied any involvement and vouched for the cleaning lady, though he acknowledged that she had been in the room the previous day to clean. He came with me to the police station. The officer on duty tried to get me to report that I'd lost the money instead of saying it had been stolen, because that would make the procedure easier for him. It turned into a bizarre discussion, with him pushing me to say anything except that it was theft. Eventually he accepted my statement as I wanted to give it, but said my complaint would go straight into the archives. We were really disappointed and thought about leaving that night or switching hotels. We stayed for the final 2 days, but the experience was brutal for us. We moved everything into the car and parked it somewhere else. After spending our holidays in Greece for 10 years, this was the first time we were glad to leave. As we crossed the border, we told ourselves, “Goodbye Greece... forever.”

The host was on hand whenever we had questions, and even pointed us toward places of interest that we wouldn't typically find through a Google search. One beach we visited on his recommendation turned out to be the best on the island. He also welcomed us by carrying our bags to the room. I stayed at Yasemi Rooms in August 2019, and the room was clean with a lovely balcony. The experience was beyond exceptional. I'd stay here again and again, and strongly recommend it.

The owner was incredibly helpful and made my stay better. At Yasemi Rooms in Vasiliki, I had a spacious, clean room and fast Wi-Fi. The location was ideal. Highly recommend!
