Irides Luxury Studios & Apartments

It was so peaceful at Irides, with the hotel far from the city and wonderful views that made the place feel like paradise. We spent our days there and never wanted to leave. The owner was generous, always smiling, and helped us with everything we needed. The service felt heartfelt and exceptional, almost like being at home. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!

We ended up spending our days at Agia Marina beach and the bars there, which was much more pleasant. After a few days we’d pretty much given up on the hotel. Our loft room had a tiny air-conditioning unit that couldn’t cool it, so we were baking day and night during our seven-day stay at irides. Breakfast was the same every day and sometimes there wasn’t enough. Poolside food was usually overcooked pizza, since that seemed to be all they had. When we did stay by the pool, the owner yelled at our kids for jumping in. It felt like a mom-and-pop place, with the son trying to look busy, but we didn’t get good service. It was expensive for what it offered, and I wouldn’t go back. There are more welcoming options on the island.

We spent a lot of time enjoying the hotel itself, especially the peaceful pool area with its seawater pool, loungers, cocktails, and light snacks from the bar. The seafront setting was beautiful, with views we couldn’t get enough of. Our room was spacious, spotless, and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable, and the private balcony became our favorite place for coffee in the morning and sunsets in the evening. After exploring the island, it was a cozy place to come back to. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to help. We really appreciated their personal suggestions for places to eat and things to do. From the warm welcome onward, our stay at Irides Hotel in Aegina felt perfect. We can’t wait to return, and would gladly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

Spyros made us feel like family, and his hospitality made the visit especially memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. It’s a peaceful place to get away from loud noise, with immediate beach access, WiFi, a mini market, and restaurants within walking distance. I can’t wait to come back!
