Breakfast was delicious, with the nut cake a particular favorite, and the staff serving it in the outdoor area beside the hotel were so friendly. The place itself is a careful restoration of an old olive press, blending the original features and newer touches beautifully. Our room, Lydia, was very comfortable and quiet at night. We loved the high ceilings and the exposed steel beams that reinforce the building. Everything in the room worked well, including the shower, with a strong stream of hot water that wasn’t too hot. The soft-lined 'Familia' slippers were comfortable and a thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back. Best wishes, D&T.

The old olive press gives this family-run hotel a lot of character, and we loved the warm, welcoming feel. We stayed in “Lydia,” one of the rooms with charming high ceilings. Breakfast wasn’t huge, but it felt homemade and everything was fresh and tasty. The location was handy too, with a supermarket and public parking right beside the hotel, and the seaside promenade, tavernas, and shops just a short walk away. We were very happy here and would gladly return, especially since we love Ithaca.

Christina made us feel like part of the family. Breakfast changed every day, with homemade food and freshly baked goods. The rooms were immaculate, and the hotel is close to the town, taverns, and all the activities.

I came to Vathy for a business trip in March, when the weather wasn’t great, but Familia boutique hotel made the stay extraordinary. We expected to stay one night and ended up there for six, with our group occupying all seven rooms. The owner was very kind. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is great, and the whole place feels welcoming and familiar. I definitely recommend it.

The homemade breakfast was one of the best, and the hotel is in an excellent location. It’s beautifully designed, with lovely rooms, and everyone working there made us feel at home right away. Christina took especially good care of us. We had a brilliant stay at Familia in Vathy and hope to come back soon.
