Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I loved the apartment and watching all the yachts coming and going. It's close to the harbour and great restaurants, with a small pool for a quick refreshing dip. The area is outstandingly beautiful. The downsides are roadside noise and no beach, though you can still swim. X

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lazareto hotel for five days in July, and had an amazing time. It's a small family hotel, so the breakfast selection isn't large, but it was tasty and I was satisfied. The atmosphere is really nice, and the staff were very helpful and kind. I totally recommend it, good value for money :)

I liked being able to browse restaurant menus without waiters coming over to pressure us. If you've been to Crete, you know what I mean. Ithaka itself is a small, laidback island with few tourists, and we had a wonderfully relaxed vacation there. The hotel is quiet and small, with just 8 apartments right by the bay. Our room had a fantastic view, and we loved it. Breakfast is included, though it's pretty plain unless the owner's mother brings out her homemade orange marmalade. Yummie. There's a small kitchen with everything you need, and the city center is close by, with plenty of restaurants.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and the hotel had the atmosphere we were hoping to find on Ithaca. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place and will definitely come back 🙂

The staff made our time on Ithaca perfect. And the owner's mother makes the best cake for breakfast!
