Odysseion Apartments

We only spent one night there, and regretted not booking more as soon as we arrived. The apartment was in perfect condition, but the view was something else. From our balcony we could see all of Ithaca's capital. Great apartment!!!

Such a cute place, with amazing decor and a lovely view toward vathy. It was really comfy and clean, and in general I loved it. The only issue was the air-conditioning wasn't working properly, so it got quite warm at night. There were also lots of bugs and insects, though there must be a solution for that.

The owners, vegalis and melpo, are so kind and generous, and it feels like they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The rooms, kitchen, and bathroom are shining clean. There's a lovely herb garden and amazing views from the rooms and balcony. It's only a minute by car from vaty, but the place feels very quiet. We've stayed at odysseion twice now. For us, it's by far the best place to stay in the vaty area, another level compared with the few other places we've tried. If god willing, it won't be our last visit 🙂🙏

The view is absolutely amazing, and the big advantage of this place. We stayed in the "Athina" room with its private terrace, and the extra cost was totally worth it. The location is lovely and quiet, but you'll need a car to get to the center, especially after dark. The silence and sounds of nature make up for it. We visited in May 2021. The room was very clean, big, well equipped, and had lots of space for our things. The downside was the Wi-Fi, which was so poor it was practically unusable.
