I like this place. People are too quick to badmouth it, considering the view, the prices and how cozy it feels.

The room was worn out, with old furniture and appliances. There was ingrained dirt in the toilet and shower, old cables and wires hanging from the wall, and you can see the photos. A kitchen tap about 1.5 m from the bed dripped constantly, day and night. The owner knew, but it was ignored until it was fixed on our third day. We were supposed to get daily cleaning. After we pointed out on day two that nobody had cleaned, the floor was mopped the next day, but the bathroom still wasn’t cleaned. The owner gave us a lot of nonsense excuses for that. The location is right next to one of the island’s heavily trafficked main roads, so sleeping and using the balcony were impossible. The beach is about 2 km away, with a 200 m elevation difference, and the road down is extremely steep. In temperatures above 30 degrees, the walk back means taking a break and takes 1.5-2 hours. Don’t ruin your holiday, choose somewhere else.

We stayed for 15 days and the room was barely acceptable. We were given two single beds rather than a double, although we hadn’t asked for that. The beds were poor quality, and there wasn’t even a spare pillow. We also got a mountain-view room instead of a sea-view one. The room wasn’t kept clean during our stay: the bathroom was dirty and dusty, the sheets were stained, and the refrigerator icebox was held shut with tape. The toilet seat was broken, some lights didn’t work, and electrical wires were exposed behind the headboard. The clothesline was broken and tied to the balcony railing. The balcony connected to the outside staircase, so anyone could have reached our French window. The shower was open on one side, and water leaked out, so we had to dry the whole bathroom every time. We had to pay a significant extra charge, in cash only, to use the air conditioning. The outdoor parking lot is too small for the number of rooms, and you have to be very careful when pulling out because the road is busy.

Definitely poor. We booked for four adults, but the room was tiny, with the beds right beside each other and nowhere for our luggage. We had to leave our suitcases on the terrace table or we couldn’t move around. The kitchenette had only three plates, no glasses, not enough cutlery and one saucepan. With three chairs and a small round bar table, cooking or eating was impossible. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat, a shower with no enclosure and nowhere to hang the phone. The room had no light ducts. The sheets were clean, but the edges of the bed were dusty. It was an inconvenient base for visiting the island.
