Porto Villa Hotel

The rooms were good and clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff were very helpful. I liked the pool area and how close the hotel was to the sea. A large fridge in the room was an extra plus. It is a bit remote, but there's a bus and a hop on train right outside.

We spent a week here and had a fantastic time. The marina and sea views were beautiful, and there was a huge, clean pool on site. The public beach, which we thought was the most beautiful and largest, was just a three-minute walk away. Nearby restaurants ranged from affordable to upscale, mostly family-run taverns serving delicious food. There's also a bus stop right outside for an easy trip into the city. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We enjoyed fresh breakfast and coffee every day. The owners were very hospitable: when we arrived late at night, they had left a special note so we could check ourselves in.

The pool was lovely, there were always sunbeds free, and it didn't cost extra. Two beaches are nearby, one just a couple of minutes away and the larger one perhaps a 10-minute walk. There's a bus stop 10m away, a small shop a couple of minutes off, and two good restaurants close by. Oia was easy to reach using two buses, and I definitely recommend a visit. Take some extra money, as the island is quite expensive. We wanted a quiet holiday, and the calm, clean hotel suited us perfectly. The view is gorgeous, the staff are great, the cleaners are very good, and the owner was especially helpful and spoke perfect English. Breakfast was included and good. It wasn't a buffet: we could have as much coffee or tea, bread, yogurt, salad, and eggs as we wanted, plus plates of ready-made sandwiches, cakes, savoury snacks, and omelette. The simple room was fine since we weren't there to spend all our time indoors. It had a good shower with nice gel, a decent-sized balcony, and great air conditioning. Towels and linen were changed every other day. I'd definitely stay here again. Calm, clean, quiet, friendly. Thank you!

Dimitris, Kiki, and the rest of the team were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was always clean and well looked after. We spent an incredible week here with my wife. The hotel has everything we needed, from breakfast and a pool to a great view and a bus stop right out front. It's just a few steps from the marina, with lots of great restaurants around, and far from the tourist traps. Bravo!
