Location

Our rental car let us explore the island, including Kamari, which was our favourite, Oia and its breathtaking views, and Perissa's beach and bars, just a short drive away. We really liked staying in a quieter area, and the owner's tips were super helpful. This family-run place was a gem. The owner's warm welcome set the mood right away, and her nonstop tidying kept the hotel spotless. She really is a cleaning machine 😂. Breakfast was light and lovely, with fresh croissants, toast, and fruit. The evening meals were divine too: lamb chops, pork fillets, and fresh salads, all cooked with love. We had an absolute blast and can't recommend it enough. 👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks again, Charlie.

The rooms were spotless and beautifully cared for, the pool was a great place to relax, and every meal was delicious, homemade, fresh, and full of flavour. From the first day at Villa Michalis, we felt like part of the family. Michalis, Meroula, Stravos, and all the staff are kind-hearted people who put their hearts into what they do. The host family were so warm and welcoming, and our room was beautiful. We loved the delightful pool area and the fantastic food at the onsite taverna. It's great value too. Absolutely love this place!

The local beach is a real gem, and the hotel makes a great base for visiting the nearby beach towns and historical sites. It's a fantastic place in Vlichada, with warm hosts, a great restaurant on site, and a beautiful pool. If you're renting a car for a few days, don't hesitate to stay here.

The staff are warm, friendly, cooperative, and attentive, and make you feel like part of the family. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and the location is quiet. They're very willing to help with sightseeing and organizing your trip. There's also a very nice restaurant on site, so try the local Greek dishes. The prices, portions, and home-cooked meals are all more than satisfying. I'd definitely stay again!
