George and Lena made us feel so welcome that we hated to leave. They’re a lovely family and such thorough hosts, and their work restoring this historic home is clear. It’s one of the earliest mansions built in portaria and a “twin” to the museum. The room was clean, comfortable, and true to the building’s history. Breakfast each morning was impeccable, and Lena even made homemade spinach and feta pie. We learned a lot about the area and the house. The central location made it easy to explore the town, visit the restaurants, and get to the centaur path. Private parking is a real plus in these small villages. They’re still working hard on the restoration, and I can’t wait to see the place when the tavern opens again. Thank you, Lena and George!

The room was comfortable, though not luxurious, in this charming mid 19th century building with many original features. The family who runs it is friendly. Since it’s an old building, there are limits to what they can offer, so keep in mind there’s no AC and the bathroom is small, though functional.

The rooms were spotless, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. Their traditional pie was amazing. I was also pleasantly surprised that the hotel welcomes animals. It’s a beautiful old manor house built in the traditional Pelion (Pilio) style.

I love how authentic this lovely old house feels. Even the bathroom was quite good for a place this old. I arrived very late and left early, so I didn’t get to meet the host, but everything seemed fine.
