The terrace was spacious and had a small sea view, and some of the beds were comfortable. The host also arranged a van cab for us from the airport. Still, several things made our stay at Beachside Bungalows disappointing despite the appealing listing and handy access to the beach, restaurants, and bars. The house was presented as if it had separate areas, but it was one large space split into three sections. There was little privacy and poor noise insulation, and the photos didn’t show how little closet space there was. The bathroom was noticeably small, the shower leaked and drained badly, and one small bottle each of shampoo and body wash wasn’t enough for five people. We also didn’t have enough towels. There were no amenities waiting for us when we arrived. After a long trip, even a couple of water bottles would have been a considerate touch. Nearby construction wasn’t mentioned either, and the noise started as early as 7 am, making it much harder to rest and enjoy our stay.

The flat was spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished, in a good spot. There’s no daily cleaning or towel change, but I’d stay again.

The flat was nice, though getting access to the area was a problem.

The owners were lovely and gave us advice for our stay, along with beach towels. They even offered homemade olive oil when we asked, if they had some available. The apartment is beautiful and close to Vouliagmeni beach, with several free beaches and the city center within walking distance. We’ll definitely come back.
