BanSala Villas

This was our second visit, after loving the place before, and we enjoyed it even more. We stayed 10 days and could happily have stayed forever. It’s so peaceful, and I found I loved Vounaria (the village) all over again, even though I thought I was tired of it. We’ll definitely come back. John (the owner) was around, attentive, cordial and friendly, while still giving us room. When we had a drainage problem, he fixed it straight away. Ana (the cleaner) was professional and friendly too. Reviewed in 2022 We already knew Vounaria from a stay a couple of years earlier and liked its quiet atmosphere and beautiful scenery. This time we booked a bungalow at Ban Sala, and it made the holiday even better. There are just a few tastefully laid-out bungalows on a pretty hill, with a breathtaking view. Each has its own garden area for privacy. The interiors are new, spacious and practical, and the living room and kitchen worked perfectly for us. We could cook just as we do at home, and there was room to shelter if a summer storm came through. The owner was very polite and friendly, knew the area well and could suggest restaurants and sights if we wanted advice, without ever being intrusive. Since he’s British, it was easier to communicate for anyone who doesn’t speak Greek. The service staff cleaned every day and were also polite and friendly whenever we needed something beyond the usual. Ban Sala is our go-to place in this part of Greece. Thanks!

Such a lovely, peaceful little haven!

A nice place, though it costs a lot.

We stayed from the 16th to the 20th and got the best service. The house is just right for unwinding, and it was spotless. Having a private yard really makes a difference. The pool was spotless too. The man who handed over the keys gave us all the details we needed about food and beaches. It’s a place where you can truly relax.
