Kalogria Beach Apartments

The apartment was roomy, and the balcony was too, though there was no divider between units for privacy. The place was very affordable and about 600 meters from a clean, sandy beach. Still, the patio was in very poor condition, and the stairs had no railings and not enough light at night. Dust covered the kettle and coffee machine. I went after the high season, and I doubt I'll return.

The one thing going for it is that you can spend the whole day at Kalogria Beach Hotel. The house itself looked very old and almost abandoned, and it wasn't clean when we arrived. During our four days there, nobody came to clean or replace the sheets and towels.

The food was next level, and the staff were so kind and friendly. My first all-inclusive stay was amazing. The rooms were gorgeous and very accommodating. I was there with two babies, and their service for kids was great, including an option for babies who still eat blended food.

Parking filled up, so guests left cars on the hotel's pedestrian paths outside the rooms. Internet was available only in reception, with none in the rooms, and they didn't even leave a bottle of water in the room. The hotel was overcrowded and short-staffed. Food was awful, and drinks and refreshments were watered down. Although it's a family hotel, there were only two baby chairs in the restaurant for the first 2-3 days of my stay, then they brought ten more. Cleaning staff never wore face masks, though the other staff did. I suppose the good ratings come from stressed parents being happy to "park" their kids at the water park and playground, or from guests mixing this place up with the hotel of the same name in the Stoupa area. There's a reason you can't find it on booking.com or tripadvisor.
