Julia's Apartment

The two apartments were clean and nicely equipped, and the place worked well as a base for exploring the town and the lovely spots along the coast. We spent a week here as a family. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living area joined to the kitchen and dining space, with doors opening onto a terrace and a mesmerizing sea view. There’s also a separate one-bedroom apartment downstairs, with its own bathroom. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast on the terrace and watching the sunset over the sea made our stay at the Avia feel magical. The apartment was spacious and modern, and that lovely terrace was its best feature. Right next door, there was a great restaurant serving fresh Greek food, with attentive, professional service. The owner was welcoming from the start, quick to reply, and shared useful suggestions for things to see nearby. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back.

We liked the location, with the beach and places to eat close by, but several things made our stay unpleasant. The bed and thin pillows were very uncomfortable, and we could feel the springs. There were spiders on the windows and the curtains weren’t clean. The room also needs more basic supplies, including lights, kitchen paper, and shampoo or shower gel. When we arrived, another couple was in our room because of confusion between two platforms. It got sorted out, but caused a hassle.

The terrace had a fabulous view, and we could hear birds all the time. There’s a swing out there too. The beach is nearby, either a short walk or drive, and a mini market and restaurants or taverns are close. We had plenty of space inside, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dining area that became our games room, hairdryer, towels, and more. A lovely place for families with children or anyone else. We had a wonderful holiday, and communication with the owner was very good.
