The Green Home

We had a wonderful holiday in Kakovatos and Zaharo. The beach near Zaharo was even more beautiful in person than in the photos, with lovely sand and sea. Our studio was spotless, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged with everything needed for a stay. The whole place felt green, warm, and like a little family paradise. Many thanks to our outstanding hosts for their hospitality and help. They’re experienced tourism professionals, and the accommodation is impeccable. We’d happily recommend this welcoming place, full of warmth, peace, and love.

The area is beautiful, especially the long sandy beach, and the garden is clean and very green. There’s free parking and good Wi-Fi. The hosts speak Greek only, though their daughter speaks excellent English. One downside is the noise from the road nearby and the military airport.

Green Villa has convenient parking and free Wi-Fi, and it’s a nice base for nearby towns such as Zacharo, Kyparissia, and Pyrgos while still giving you the quiet of a village. Kakovatos beach is sandy and suits both children and adults. You can drive to Neda waterfalls and the Temple of Apollo Epicurius from here. The rooms are very clean, with modern, attractive furniture, and the hosts are kind and friendly. I recommend it.

Everything was beautifully designed, including the comfortable seating outside. Inside, the place was very clean and well equipped, with a small but nicely fitted kitchen. It’s excellent value for money and ideally located, about a 15-minute walk from the sea and its lovely beach. There are also plenty of charming little restaurants nearby.
