The property is pretty, which makes it a shame that I wouldn’t stay here again. I chose it after reading reviews that called it very quiet, since I have insomnia and wanted somewhere calmer. That wasn’t my experience. Maybe I got a badly placed room, but I could hear everything next door early in the morning: doors shutting, teeth brushing, noses being blown, phone conversations, and more. For the price, that’s ridiculous. It’s farther from the town center, though Antigua is small, and I found it less convenient than other places I’ve stayed there. I was okay with the distance for some quiet, but didn’t get it. The shower didn’t stay very hot for long. Maybe the confusing handles were part of the problem.

My daughter and I were here recently on a group tour, and it suited us perfectly. It’s a sweet boutique style hotel with just 10 rooms. We enjoyed delicious breakfast overlooking the lovely little courtyard, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The city centre is an easy walk away. I’d happily stay again.

This pretty hotel sits just outside the main business area, and the service and breakfast were great. The walls are very thin, though, so you can hear the neighbors. Ours had loud phone calls at 3 and 4am, unfortunately. That part wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

It has a nice rustic charm, and the service was friendly and professional. Restaurants were a little farther away than I’d realized, but Antigua is a beautiful town to explore on foot.

The staff were extremely courteous and friendly, and the hotel itself is clean and cozy. Breakfast is really good too. But if you want to sleep in or relax, this probably isn’t the place. The walls are paper thin, so we heard our neighbors’ reggaeton late into the night, along with other private noises, and I could understand their conversations from my room. In the morning, the tables are right in front of the rooms, so breakfast noise carries in.
