The onsite staff were kind and helpful, and the room was nice and clean. I had concerns about communication and ownership, though. One staff member at a time was covering the front desk, cleaning, laundry, and cooking on 24-hour shifts. We were told airport transportation was available, but the car that arrived was too small for our group and luggage. The owner then tried to charge us extra, beyond what we'd already paid, to get our bags to the airport. It also seemed odd that we were asked to pay the hotel instead of the taxi driver, unlike what I've experienced at other Antigua hotels over many stays. They requested dollars, and when we asked to pay in Quetzales, the exchange rate they offered was very unfavorable. Because of the unclear charges and transport trouble, I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were lovely and always smiling, and the cleaner came every day to replace our towels. Our room and the hotel were spotless and smelled really nice. After reading negative reviews, it was a pleasant surprise. Downtown Antigua is just a short walk away. We'd definitely come back.

We'd happily have paid more for this hotel. The rooms looked pleasant and were clean, the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the roof had a gorgeous view. We were right in the middle of beautiful Antigua's hustle and bustle, too.

The room was lovely and clean, with nice decor and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, and the lady there was very helpful and nice. We were woken by people coming in late and chatting loudly in the communal area. Someone else also used our bathroom, so it wasn't always available to us. Aside from that, the stay was excellent.
