Yellow House - Hostel

It was my first time in Antigua, and I’ll book Yellow House again when I return. The lounge was relaxing, the location was perfect, and the staff were super friendly. Our room was well kept and cleaned daily. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, the beds were comfy, and there were plenty of bathrooms, all kept up around the clock. Definitely book with Yellow House if you can!

A lovely place to hang out and unwind, with such a pretty, welcoming feel and wonderful breakfasts. The staff were friendly, warm, and helpful. My room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely traditional, and the shared bathrooms were clean and never busy. Thanks for such a positive stay.

It really felt like home in Antigua, and it was the best hostel stay we’ve had. The staff were incredible. When there was a small mix-up, they sorted it right away and went out of their way to look after us. After our Acatenango hike, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived to check in, but they let us shower, relax on the rooftop, and store our bags safely. The luggage storage is handy for early arrivals and late departures. I’d mentioned in the booking that it was my boyfriend’s birthday. At check-in they surprised us with a cake, beer, fruit, candles, and a song, all free. Such a thoughtful gesture, and it made the stay special. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped, great if you want to cook and save some money. Breakfast was another highlight, homemade and prepared right in front of you. 100% recommend.

It’s a beautiful property with lovely outdoor spaces, and the location makes it easy to walk to everything in Antigua. My room was very clean, the reception staff were kind, and the bag storage lockers were convenient. Sleep was a bit difficult, though. The walls are very thin, there’s no fan, and my window opened onto the hallway.
