The public swimming jetty is right across the road, and there are plenty of local restaurants and street food on the main road. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, and the outdoor kitchen has all the basics. The colectivo to Tikal cost 30Q going there and 25Q on the way back, so you save time and money compared with going from Flores. Highly recommend staying here!

We had all the comfort we needed, and our service dog stayed with us. There isn't air conditioning, but every bed has a mosquito net, which we didn't need. We spent a couple of nights at Erna's guesthouse in October 2022 and loved it. The room quality and location were great for the price. We stayed after visiting Tikal, then again when we returned from Yaxha. Erna is really welcoming and kind.

The kitchen had everything we needed, including oil, salt, pepper, coffee, and sugar. We found the beds very comfortable, the mosquito nets useful, and the shower warm. The host was lovely and helpful. A great little place for exploring Tikal and Yaxha, much closer to everything than Flores. Highly recommend!

Yohana was super nice. The place was clean and friendly, and the price was good for three beds. I highly recommend staying here if you're passing through.

The owner was friendly and helped us arrange an early-morning bus to Tikal. The rooms were big and comfortable, with private bathrooms. Mosquito nets are fitted above each bed if you need them.
