Global airport bed and breakfast

We chose to stay near the airport to rest during a 16-hour wait for our next flight. The neighborhood is a little noisy, but my noise-cancelling headset took care of that. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the woman at the front desk was friendly and nice. We paid extra for early check-in, which was worth it. They can also take you to the airport, a handy service, though I wouldn’t really call it a shuttle.

The included breakfast was good, though it arrived about 10-15 minutes late, which could matter if you’re on a tight schedule. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is basic but okay and very close to the airport. The Wi-Fi was so slow that I gave up on it.

We stayed here both when arriving at and leaving Guatemala City airport. It’s a five-minute walk away, with clean rooms, friendly service, and a delicious breakfast included. A great place to stay.

We left at 3:30 am and found a cab waiting to take us to the airport, even though we hadn’t specifically asked for one. The staff were kind and super friendly. After checkout, we asked if they could hold our bags while we toured the city for a few hours, and they agreed readily, even though we made the request two days later. We got a warm welcome, a nice clean room, and a bathroom with good water pressure. There were kitchen facilities for heating water or making tea, and they packed us breakfast with a fruit drink and sandwich.
