We did the tough route and it was worth it. In four hours, you get a hike, zip line, and kayak, and it’s hard to pick the best part. The guides were helpful and professional, and I never felt unsafe with their equipment. Amazing adventure, worth every penny. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.

After a wonderful lunch with very good food and excellent service, we walked behind the restaurant and past the cabanas. They all had AC and nice furniture. The path continued alongside a cow pasture up to the start of the zip-line. It’s a beautiful place.

We spent an epic day at Tenamit Maya with old and new friends. The zip line and obstacle course came first, then we went kayaking. Back at the lodge we had a delicious lunch, followed by swimming and jumping off the high dock. A really memorable day of adventures.

It’s been 2 weeks since someone at the restaurant stole money from my bag, and no one has contacted me with an update or said they would. The owners or management don’t seem to care about their customers. Xpedition tours should’ve stepped in on my behalf, but they didn’t. They really need to reconsider sending tourists to Tenamit Maya resort. I may be the first person this happened to, but I won’t be the last unless someone takes action and starts caring about the tourists who bring business. So disappointed in the ownership. Unprofessional. Anyway, good luck, everyone.
