The room had plenty of space, and the three-bed setup worked well. The beds seemed clean, though the floors could have been cleaner. Breakfast was included and good, and the hosts were very welcoming. It's in a lively spot, which got a little noisy in the morning. The bathroom was small, and the shower lacked both hot water and pressure.

At 700 quetzals (about $120 CAD), this was nowhere near worth the price, and we won't be back. My husband and I barely slept: the bed was uncomfortable and had bugs. The room smelled and looked dirty, and the bathroom hadn't been washed. There was hair on the bed and blanket from a previous guest, and cleaning supplies had been left in the room. I told the staff; the receptionist apologized, but they only changed the sheet, leaving hair on the blanket. Very disappointing, with no value for money.

I don't usually like leaving bad reviews in foreign countries, since places can differ from my hometown, but this stay was unacceptable. The view shown in the pictures, with the lake and three famous volcanoes, wasn't there at all. Instead, there were dirty trees. Breakfast was basic, and the building was very poor quality. There were lots of bed bugs, including many crawling on the ground, plus cobwebs and dead spiders everywhere. I wouldn't advise staying here.

The WiFi is poor, and getting hot water is a problem. This place needs an update.
